Young Love


The Jounin was rocking back and forth on the tree branch, as he used to when he was a kid...
His mask blew in the wind, this reminded him of his childhood games. How he missed those days...
Backwards, forwards, backwards, forwards he rocked gently.
He rocked gently that is until a familiar blonde-haired head nearly smashed into his forehead.
"KAKASHI-SENSEEEEI!!" the blonde haired boy screamed. He was hanging upside down, his legs wrapped round a higher tree branch. The Jounin fell off of the tree-trunk backwards. Or so it would seem. "Uh... Kakashi-sensei?" the Boy asked uncertainly. The Jounin was in fact above the Boy, falling down at high speed.
"Naruto!" He barked, from above the Boy, "Don't surprise people like that!" The Jounin fell past the boy, grabbing then young Genin's collar as he did so.
"SENSEEEEIIII!!" Naruto yelled as he was being dragged through the branches.

Thud. They landed on the grass. Naruto got up and brushed himself off, exclaiming something about child abuse, but Kakashi was having none of it. He was the famed Copy Sharingan Ninja after all. The famed ninja who has copied more than 1000 techniques from other shinobi. With one sharingan.
"However loud you shout, I won't listen, Naruto..." He murmured in his usually-quiet voice. Then he did what he always did, he got out his 'Make Out Violence' book and started reading. This was partly to find out what happens, but mostly to annoy his hot-headed young Genin.

After a while, Naruto quietened down, as he normally did, and asked a question.
"Uh... Kakashi-sensei, how do you make a girl like you?" He asked quietly. Kakashi froze and dropped his book. Naruto... Asking about a girl ? I mean, come on... It's Naruto .
"It depends what type of girl it is... Obviously." Kakashi said in a monotonous voice, "What is this girl like ?"

Naruto took some time to think.
"Well, the only way to describe her... is... PERFECT!!!!" Naruto bellowed happily, Kakashi sighed, this was going to be a long afternoon.
"Yes, but what is her temprament like, shy, outgoing, loud, quiet, happy, sad... You know, those kinda things..." the masked Jounin told Naruto. Naruto thought some more.
"Well, I guess she's shy, she doesn't get out much, she's mostly happy but doesn't show it and can seem very weird sometimes, but thats why I like her." He said thoughfully.

"What was that? I got carried away with my book..." Kakashi laughed. Naruto's face got red with rage, "Only joking Naruto. Well, that doesn't sound like Sakura-chan."
"Who's talking about Sakura-chan ?" Naruto asked, "I'm talking about Hinat-..." He clapped his hands over his mouth and turned tomatoe red. Kakashi gave him a warm smile.
"Oh, the Hyuuga girl," Kakashi said calmly, shouts of protest came from Naruto but Kakashi hushed him and carried on, "Well, I think you should tell her how you feel, she seems a person very in tune with her feelings and won't like it if you force yourself on her..."

"Huh?" Naruto asked, confused.
"Well, you know what Jiraiya does to women, flatters them, you know?" Kakashi began, Naruto nodded, "Well, do the opposite from that, tell her how you feel and stuff, but it has to be real feelings, otherwise she won't believe it, girls are like that."
"Oohh... Ok! I get the idea!! Thanks Kakashi-sensei, I'll see her right now!" Naruto shouted and zoomed off into the distance, only to come back seconds later and ask, "Uhh.. Wheres the Hyuuga part of town?" Kakashi pointed East so Naruto zoomed off. Kakashi decided to follow him, to see how he was with women.

They got to the Hyuuga part of town, Kakashi was later than Naruto. Naruto was already talking to Hinata so Kakashi hid behind a fence that was next to the talking couple.

"So, Here's what I've come to say, Hinata-chan," he heard Naruto say, "I l-l-l..."
"Yes? Yes?" Hinata asked, sounding breathless.
"I l-l-lo- Aw, to hell with it," Naruto finished. Kakashi looked round to see Naruto grab Hinata and pull her in for a kiss, "I love you Hinata-chan," Naruto whispered, and put his lips to hers. Hinata seemed to wobble like jelly and they gently walked away, hand in hand and sat down on a bench together. Happy with his young Genin, Kakashi left.


Back on the tree, Kakashi was rocking backwards and forwards gently, he thought of the past half-hour and smiled.
"Young love..." He said, grinning.
