SasuSaku- suspitions

I thought someone might like this. >.> And note: I made him already kill Itachi, but not Orochi. Enjoy and comment^^

   Sasuke walked through the field of flowers. Many colors surrounded the black-haired Uchiha.
He'd always travel through the flower garden when he'd go somewhere. It reminded him of
his love, Haruno Sakura. The flowers would always remind him of her sweet personality and
the cherry blossom petals would remind him of her pink hair. The green grass would
remind him of her pretty, green eyes. There was a Sakura tree that stood in the middle of the garden and brought back memories of them together.
  Today though, the cherry blossom didn't wave in the wind like it usually would. The cherry blossoms were falling rapidly and as they reached the ground, they slowly turned a decayed brown.
He rose his brow and shook his head, picking up one of the dead petals. Something seemed different and he had a feeling in his stomach like he was going to throw up. He swallowed some spit and closed his eyes as the soft wind blew down and killed more pink petals. He continued walking through the flower field and felt himself step on something that made a 'crunch.'  Lifting his foot, he saw a small dead cherry blossom that grew from the ground. "What's going on?" he asked himself.
   He usually never believed in superstitions and legends. He thought they were a waste of time.
As he picked up the withered flower, he felt sick to his stomach again. "Why do I feel like this?" he asked himself. He covered his mouth and quickly began dashing through the garden.
   The black haired Uchiha ran into the town, back to his home that he shared with Sakura. When he rushed in, he saw the house was empty. "Sakura?!" he screamed through the home. "Sakura?!"
   He couldn't find any trace of the pink haired Kounoichi. Dashing out of the house, he started to look among the village. He grit his teeth and took a deep breath, trying to keep himself calm. He saw the blonde haired, blue eyed, fox carrier and hurried to him. He seemed depressed, as if he were about to burst into tears. He looked the opposite way as Sasuke stopped in from of him. "Naruto," Sasuke snapped. "Where's Sakura?"
   His blue eyes closed tightly and bit his bottom lip. He stayed silent and wouldn't look at him. "Where's Sakura?!" Sasuke was sounding angrier. Naruto still stayed silent. The blonde clenched his fist and took a deep breath. "Where's Sakura?!!" Sasuke demanded and grabbed Naruto by his collar.
   "Don't be mad at him." said a voice from behind Sasuke. His head turned and spied Tsunade standing behind him with her arms by her side. Something was grasped in her hands and she let a tear fall from her cheek. "That's.." Sasuke's eyes widened as she handed him the red headband. "Where's Sakura?!?!?!" he demanded and answer from them. His voice was loud enough to be yelling. Naruto, now back on his feet turned and walked beside Tsunade. Tsunade choked and was finally able to say "She was murdered."
   "What!?!?!" he screamed in shock.  Naruto finally let out some tears and fell to his knees. Tsunade was able to choke up again. "Orochimaru got a hand to her and murdered her to get you to angry. He was trying to interigate her but she wouldn't speak."
   He held the red headband in his pale hands and felt himself shaking. "S-S-Sakura.." he mumurmered. He grasped it tightly in his hands, unable to think of what to do. "her name is engraved on the K.I.A. stone at the training grounds." Naruto stood again. Sasuke gave a small thanks you nod and dissapeared.

   "Why didn't you tell him anything?.." the Uchiha whispered, refusing to cry. "You were always so annoying and always made me worry. I hated you for doing that to me. Now how can I go on without you? Itachi is dead and now, so are you." He placed and a hand on her name upon the gravestone. "Why did you do this to me? I love you.."
    His fingers felt the ragged letters of her name. "Sasuke," he heard the blondes' voice. He didn't turn to him, but listened. "I'm sorry about this. I couldn't protect her." The Uchiha just closed his eyes and said "I need to be alone."
   With that, the blonde walked back to the village and left him. Sasuke clenched his hand around her headband once more and whispered her name again. "Sakura..."
  'Sasuke..'
  He turned, heraing her voice. It was as if her ghost were speaking to him. "Sakura!" he went to wrap his arms around her, but just fell through. He finally allowed himself to cry as it started to rain. "Sakura.." he repeated.
  'Sasuke, please live without me. You deserve to be happy. You were never happy since the massacre.'
   "How can I, when you're not here? I'll miss you like hell everyday."
   'Sasuke, you can do this.' a smile crossed her face. 'Just remember I'll always love you, and I'm waiting for you.'
     "Sakura.." He lay in the mud. He sat up and touched the ghostly figure. "I'll always love you too." he said and grasped the mud.
   'I'll be waiting for you Sasuke-kun. But live your life and take your time. I love you.'
     With that, the Sakura illusion dissapeared and he lay back in the mud, his hand still holdingg her headband. The clouds filled the sky as he spoke to himself softly. "I don't think I'll be able to reach where you're waiting, my love." he said and a small smile came across his face. "But I'll always love you. No matter what." He lifted his hand to where it reached the gravestone. His finger traced her name and he closed his eyes.


"Haruno, Sakura."
